GRADING SYSTEM

 

The first semesterattendanceofcollegeis students’aAtperthiodtime,ofad must demonstrate scholastic ability, aptitude for the course taken, high moral ideals, and willing-

 

ness to cooperate with every detail of the College program. The scholastic performance of all stu-dents shall be evaluated withThethefinaluse gradesofthe in the student’s respective permanent record and reported to their parents, guardians or sponsors

 

shortly after the semester has ended. The grade, its percentage equivalent and the corresponding honor points are as follows:

Other grade equivalents are as follows:

 

WP - WITHDRAW- Mark PASSED given to any student who stopped attending classes in the mid-dle of the term, but could have passed the subject had they not stopped based on their performance.

 

WF - WITHDRAW- Mark FAILED given to students who stopped attending classes due to his inability to cope with the requirements of the course.

 

NG - NO -GRADEMarkgiven to students whose performance is satisfactory but stops schooling due to inadequate finances, personal illness (e.g. exam, assignment), after an allowance

 

NG. This grade neither indicates failure nor earns credit. Such grade is permanent and cannot be changed subsequently.

 

FA - FAILURE IN - ATTENDANCEMarkgiventostudentswho have stopped attending classes and failed to cancel registration by properly completing the Drop voucher. The “FA” grade appears on the student’s permanent record, resulting in a GPA penalty.

 

INC. - INCOMPLETE-ThismarkGRADEisgivento students who failed to meet the major requirements of a class (e.g. major exam, term paper, etc). An incomplete grade needs to be com-pleted within the next semester only; otherwise, the student will receive the grade equivalent to his performance.
