GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING SERVICE

Seventh-day Adventist boarding schools have a unique commitment to counseling and practice. CentralAdventistPhilippineCollege offers guid counseling techniques practiced by Jesus and outlined in the Spirit of Prophecy.

During His lifetime on earth, Jesus met His listeners at their points of need, counseled with them by arousing their interests and attending to their requests. He was ever available  and  practiced  a  confidential  one.

Ellen G. White emphasizes the importance of close faculty-student relationships. Teach-ers are challenged with the idea of the individual importance of each student and encour aged to recognize that teaching is a partnership with God in character development. Thus, in addition to our designated professional counselors, each faculty member of CPAC serves as a “Parents/Sponsor” for a certain small group of students. Faculty parents/sponsor are encouraged to pray with student and trust. Students are urged to seek counsel from their campus foster parents/faculty
